Insomnia tricks and tips

Struggling to sleep can be incredibly frustrating. Please enjoy the video with some helpful tips and tricks to help you get a better nights sleep.

Some other ideas not mentioned within the video include:

-Limiting caffeine intake after 2-3 PM

-Deep breathing exercises or meditation. An app called “Calm” has some really great guided breathing exercises

-Not sleeping with pets in the bed with you

-Not sleeping with the television on

-Going to the bathroom to empty your bladder multiple times before trying to initiate sleep. That could mean 3 attempts to empty the bladder within 15-20 minutes before bed.
